20 Part-Time Work From Home Jobs Hiring Now

These Companies are Currently Hiring Part-Time Remote Employees
I get asked a lot if there are any work-from-home jobs that are part-time. Even though most remote jobs are full-time, luckily there are some part-time jobs out there, but they’re a little more difficult to find.
Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom, or you already have a full-time job and are just looking for something to supplement your income, sometimes it can be hard to find real, remote part-time jobs that don’t involve things like taking surveys.
I’ve put together a list of companies that are currently hiring part-time, remote employees. Most of these are jobs that I have listed in my daily “hiring now” blog posts over the last several weeks.
Please note that while some of these companies have positions that are time-sensitive, others keep the jobs posted all the time. If you’re interested in any of these positions, I suggest applying before they’re gone.
Work From Home Jobs Open Now
Educational technology company. They have openings for part-time Live Classroom Specialists to provide support to students and faculty members. Must have at least 1-year of experience working in a service-oriented customer support, technical support, or related field. The pay is $15 per hour, 10 hours per week. This position starts on August 5th.
Mystery shopping company. Not only does this company hire part-time Mystery Shoppers, they also hire part-time Schedulers and Editors. Schedulers and Editors can make around $1000 per month.
This company offers services to visually impaired individuals. They hire both full-time and part-time independent contractors as Agents to video chat with people who are blind and visually impaired to help them with everyday tasks. The pay is $15 per hour.
Mobile tracking app. They hire part-time Remote Customer Experience Agents. Shifts currently available are Friday through Sunday, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM Central Time. You’ll be required to work 15 – 25 hours per week. Must live in Illinois. According to Glassdoor, the pay should be around $15 – $16 per hour.
Virtual assistant company. They hire full-time and part-time, independent contractors for remote Virtual Assistants, Virtual Bookkeepers, and Website Specialists. Right now, they’re hiring for all positions. The pay ranges from $15 to $19 per hour.
Online retailer. This company hires remote part-time Customer Experience Agents to assist customers via chat and email, with issues like lost packages and damaged items. You must be able to work at least 20 hours per week and be available to work on weekends. According to Glassdoor, the pay is between $14 and $16 per hour.
Golf course management application. This company hires remote, part-time Call Center Agents. Right now they are hiring for New Mexico, Florida, and Missouri. The starting pay is around $11 per hour.
Shopping rebates smartphone app. They hire part-time Ibotta Care Agents to work from home. The pay is $12 per hour and you must live in Colorado.
Online school. They hire both full-time and part-time remote Student Success Front Desk associates to be liaisons between students and the student success team. You must have at least 1 year of customer service experience.
Clothing and home décor retailer. They hire remote, part-time Customer Care Specialists. The starting pay is $14.25 per hour. The first class is scheduled to start August 12, 2019, and the second class starts on October 7, 2019.
Market research company. They hire remote part-time, remote Market Research Interviewers to make outbound calls and gather information. Schedules are 20 – 28 hours per week. According to Glassdoor, the pay is around $9 per hour.
A digital engagement services company. This company hires independent contractors as remote, part-time Mods to moderate social media accounts for their customers. The pay is $9 – $10 per hour.
Museum tour company. This company has openings for part-time Customer Service and Scheduling Representatives. You can live anywhere in the United States as long as you can work East Coast hours. Must be able to work Monday & Friday 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM EST, and Saturday & Sunday 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM EST. The pay is $14 – $16 per hour, depending on experience. Health and wellness services. This company hires independent contractors as remote, part-time GoodStart Mentors to call people and remind them to take their medications. Workdays are Monday through Saturday, and you can choose your own hours. They require at least 5 years’ customer service experience. They hire in all states except OH, ND, WA, and WY. The pay is $15 – $18 per hour.
Financial services company. They hire remote Virtual Customer Service and Support Representatives for both full-time and part-time. They prefer some related experience, however, it’s not required. The pay is around $15 per hour and they offer a chance to earn an additional $425 per month in performance-based incentives.
Online ESL platform. This company hires remote, part-time ESL teachers in the United States and Canada to teach English to Chinese students between the ages of 5 and 12. You must have at least an associate degree, but a bachelor,s is preferred. They require a minimum time commitment of at least 6 hours per week. The pay is $16 – $20 per hour.
Internet streaming service owned by DISH. This company hires remote part-time Customer Experience Representatives. No prior experience requirements are mentioned. The starting pay is between $10 and $15 per hour.
Market research company. They hire remote, part-time Telephone Interviewers for outbound calls. They require at least 60 hours per month, with 20 of those to be worked on the weekends. According to Glassdoor, the pay should be around $9 per hour.
Online personal styling service for women. They hire part-time, remote Stylists in and around large cities in the United States. These are independent contractor positions and you can choose your own schedule. The pay is $15 – $17 per hour.
Online ticket marketplace owned by eBay. They hire part-time, work-from-home Customer Service Reps to assist ticket buyers via phone and chat. You must be available for at least 25 hours per week with a minimum of 2 hours on weekends. They have openings in Colorado and Washington. According to Glassdoor, the pay should be around $15 per hour.
