What you may not know is they hire remote employees for various types of customer service roles, including Virtual Customer Care Professional, Virtual Small Business Customer Care Professional, and Virtual Travel Counselor. And they hire for these positions several times per year.

You’ll also need to recommend relevant products to each customer. You must be open to working a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends, as customers are serviced 24/7.

Requirements

Requirements for this role include a high school diploma or GED. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, it’s not necessary. You must have at least 2 years of customer service and sales experience and be technically savvy. A secure work area, free from distractions is required, along with high-speed internet service and an analog landline phone.

 

Virtual Small Business Customer Care Professional

In this role, you’ll be servicing incoming calls from small business owners. You’ll need to be able to build a rapport with the customers, answer in-depth product questions, and recommend the right products for their business needs.

Requirements

Must have a high-school diploma or GED. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. At least 2 years of previous customer service and sales experience is required along with excellent written and verbal communications skills. You must have a dedicated, distraction-free home office along with high-speed internet service and an analog landline phone.

 

Virtual Travel Counselor

This position is responsible for helping premium cardholders with travel services tailored to their unique vacation needs and helping customers with their entire travel itinerary. You’ll be making recommendations and will be required to sell related products while delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

You must have a dedicated, distraction-free home office. You must have at least 2 years of international experience. You must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes nights and weekends. You’ll need high-speed internet service.

Pay

The pay starts between $16 and $19 per hour and up, depending on the position, your education, and your experience.
