Duties

A few of the primary duties of this role include the following:

• Answering incoming telephone calls from customers.

Requirements

You will need to meet the following to be considered for this position:

• Prior experience in sales.
• Previous experience in relationship building. 
• Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to type quickly and accurately.
• Must be tech savvy with the ability to navigate the internet, Microsoft Office, and instant messaging software.
• Ability to work in a virtual call center environment.

Technical Requirements

This position requires you to have a quiet, distraction-free home office.

You will also need a high-speed internet connection with upload speeds of 5.0 Mbps and download speeds of 10 Mbps. Your internet must be Cable or FIOS, although they allow DSL if that is your only available option.

The company will provide you with a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, phone, headset, and webcam for working purposes. Since the company provides equipment, they require that you use a surge protector.

Eligible States

World Travel Holdings hires Travel Sales Agents living in all states except AK, CA, HI, KY, ND, OH, OR, and PA.

Training 

There is no in-person training for these work-from-home positions. All training is completed remotely from your home. 

Training lasts six weeks and is paid for by the company.

Schedule

This role is full-time, and you must be available to work between 35 and 45 hours per week based on business needs.

Pay and Benefits

The hourly pay rate for this position isn’t listed in the job posting. However, according to what is posted, Travel Sales Agents are guaranteed an hourly base pay or booking incentives, whichever is greater. And according to their website, the average salary is $40,000 per year.

World Travel Holdings employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days after hire. Some of the benefits include medical, dental, paid time off, and a 401K retirement plan.
