The Cons of Freelancing

Pay your own taxes – Since taxes won’t be taken out of your check, it’s up to you to pay them.

No benefits – Freelancers are not afforded the fringe benefits of employees, such as health, vision, and dental coverage, and retirement plans.

No guaranteed salary – Unlike an employee who still gets paid during slow periods, freelancers don’t get paid unless they have work.
