Duties

Some of the responsibilities of these positions include the following:

• Assist customers through telephone calls, emails, live chats, and social media platforms.

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Handle a high volume of customer questions regarding services and products.
• Process customer payments.

Education and Skills Required

Some of the requirements include the following:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• You must be able to type at least 25 words per minute.
• Proficient in using a computer.
• Have excellent customer service skills.

Technical Requirements

This position requires you to have a quiet, distraction-free home office along with high-speed, hard-wired internet.

Some clients provide a laptop for work. If the client you are hired for doesn’t provide equipment, you’ll need to have the following:

• A desktop or laptop computer with at least 4GB RAM and 5GB free hard drive space.
• Your computer must be running Windows operating system 8.1 or higher.
• You must have at least a 15-inch monitor with a resolution of at least 1280 x 1024.
• Your internet should be 2 Mbps upload and 12 Mbps download.
• Ethernet LAN connection to connect to the Internet.

Eligible States

Teleperformance appears to hire in all states. No state restrictions are listed.

Training 

Unless otherwise stated, there is no in-person training for these work-from-home positions. All training is completed remotely from your home and is paid for by the company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay will depend on the client you are hired for. However, according to Glassdoor, the pay ranges from $13 to $16 per hour.
