What Does an Agent With Direct Interactions Do?

As an agent in this company, you are responsible for responding to customer inquiries via phone or email. 

It involves understanding the customer’s problem and providing them with efficient solutions while always remaining courteous and professional. 

Some of the duties you may be responsible for could include general technical support, taking orders over the phone, processing insurance claims, researching information, data entry, and more.

Education and Skills Needed

To be considered for a remote agent position at Direct Interactions, you’ll need to have the following education and skill set:

  • Have at least a high school diploma or a GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years old or older.
  • Must be a resident of the United States.
  • Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

  • Must have a Windows 10 or higher operating system with at least 8GB RAM.
  •  Processor speed must be at least 2.00GHz.
  • High-speed, hard-wired internet, either DSL, cable, or fiber optic. WiFi, satellite, mobile hotspots, and mobile internet are not permitted. 
  • ISP must be based in the United States. 
  • USB noise-canceling headset with microphone.
  • A second monitor is strongly recommended but not required. 

Some positions require that you have a cell phone (no more than three years old) in order to install the company’s software for multifactor authentication purposes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay varies according to the client. However, most positions appear to pay around $15 per hour.

W2 employees are paid biweekly through direct deposit. Independent contractors are paid through direct deposit on the 10th of each month.

There are no benefits offered to independent contractors. W2 employees are eligible for employee benefits like health, dental, life insurance, paid time off, sick time, and more. 


Training is completed remotely and paid for by the company. 

The length of training depends on the exact position and the client.
