About the Remote Customer Care Specialist Role

Duties 

A few of the duties of this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Answer incoming telephone calls, emails, chats, and customer social media messages.
  • Respond to all customer questions and concerns in a timely fashion.
  • Make sure all information given to customers is accurate.
  • Pinpoint customer needs and assist them in using specific features.
  • Follow up with customers having technical support issues.
  • Identify and report product malfunctions.
  • Gather feedback from customers and report it to other departments.
  • Assist in developing training materials.
  • Lead training sessions for customers.
  • Assist in the creation, editing, and management of knowledge base documents.
  • Assist in training lower-level customer care employees.

Requirements

You must satisfy the following requirements to be considered for this position.

  • Must have at least two years of previous customer service, customer care, or training in technical toolset experience.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience with helpdesk software.
  • Understanding of customer relationship management.
  • Previous experience or education in legislative processes, advocacy, or government relations.

Technical Requirements

Training

All training for this role is completed remotely.

Pay and Benefits

The pay for this role is $75,000 to $90,000, or roughly $36.05 to $43.26 per hour, depending on experience and your location.
