The majority of my working career has been business-to-business credit and collections, therefore, my work hours have always been 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. So, when I had to take a job in a call center, that involved weekends, it really made me appreciate those so-called “normal hours” and having my weekends off.

One thing to keep in mind is, if you’re wanting a remote job that doesn’t require you to work on the weekends, then don’t apply for any position that states in the job posting that you must work weekends. You won’t be hired, and you’ll have wasted their time and yours. Most companies will state in the job posting the hours you’ll need to be available to work, so be sure you’re looking for weekdays only.
Types of Companies That Typically Offer Monday through Friday Schedules
Finding a remote job that is Monday through Friday really depends on the type of work that’s involved. Anything that involves call center work doing customer service, telemarketing, and tech support, will usually expect you to work nights and weekends in order to accommodate their clients’ needs.
Generally, insurance companies, banks, and healthcare facilities offer jobs that are only Monday through Friday and don’t include weekends. There are a few exceptions to this, but these types of companies are always the best bet for finding remote jobs that offer standard work schedules.
If the job is B2B (business-to-business), you will more than likely be working “normal business hours”, since many businesses aren’t open on the weekends.
Also, many virtual assistant positions will usually be during the week because they usually involve working for business professionals.

Anthem is a health insurance company. They hire remote employees for positions such as Nurse Case Manager, Financial Operations Recovery Specialist, Business Analyst, and Customer Care Representative. You’ll need to type the word remote into the keyword area in order to view all of their work from home jobs. Many of their positions are Monday – Friday during normal business hours.
This company hires remote executive assistants, web specialists, and bookkeepers. You must be able to self-train as training is not provided. They prefer a bachelor’s degree and experience working remotely. They require that you work at least 20 hours per week, but all work is done Monday – Friday during normal business hours.
This company is formerly known as Worldwide 101, is a subscription-based staffing company that services small and medium-sized companies. Business owners pay a monthly fee and they can get the help of a virtual assistant for administrative duties without having to hire someone.
